Overview: 

A real life 19th-century American western adventure about Charleston born Sephardic daguerreotypist Solomon Nunes Carvalho who became one of the first to photograph the Far West while traveling with Native Americans, Mormons, and mountain men as part of explorer John Fremont’s 1853 Westward Expedition through Kansas, Colorado, Utah, and California.

Dr. Cyril Wecht has confirmed his availability to speak at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in Murtha Hall Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. 

The topic will be "Forensic Pathology and the Mystery of Famous Cases".  It will be a full presentation, followed by Q&A.
